Are you a fan of old-school twitch shooters like Unreal Tournament and Tribes? What about team focused MOBAs like DotA and League of Legends? Would you like to play a game that combines elements of both genres while adding crafting, customization, giant robots and a bold new art style to the mix? Of course you would, and Minimum is just the game you've been searching for! Minimum PC focuses on fast-paced shooting fun and a robust system of in-match crafting, team objectives and customizable roles to create a rich and rewarding PvP experience. You'll find a bunch of interesting weapons to collect and customize, armor sets to mix and match, a solid core game mode known at TITAN MODE and more all wrapped up in a unique, minimalist artistic style that's more than the sum of its parts.
Minimum is an entertaining online shooter that perfectly employs a texture-less and block-filled visual style. With a wide assortment of maps and various items to craft, Minimum is recommended to multiplayer shooter fans who've been looking for their next online addiction.
At the end of the day Minimum is a great beginning for a new blend of MOBA/Arena Shooter, and while its rough spots hold it back from true greatness, I’m looking forward to seeing where it can go from here.
There’s a timer that guarantees games will be less than 30 minutes, and could be much shorter. That’s a perfect amount of time for me. There’s very little Minimum does wrong.
There isn’t much in terms of actual content, and the developer promises to patch this in at a later date, but I can’t help but feel the game could have done with a few more months in Early Access.
The simplistic art style of Minimum isn't a turn off in the slightest. Surprisingly, it's the melee swords that end up being a huge imbalancing factor in combat that deflates the fun of the fast-paced gunplay.
Minimum’s Titan mode feels fresh. The skirmishes based on protecting the giant deliver great dynamics on the battle field. Which makes it even worse that Minimum is plagued by poor balancing, bugs and connection problems.
If you’re willing to look past the bugs and balancing issues and are intrigued by the minimalistic art style, then give this game a shot. Though if you’re like me, it’s best to keep looking for a shooter that’s got some more depth to it.
