This ultimate edition is full of rewards: we were awarded Gold FUT 40 envelopes (one each week) and exclusive downloadable content, including unlockable as the assignment of Lionel Messi, real goals celebrations, adidas gear and more. One of the main new features of this release is that it includes the Ignite Engine, which will bring a unique and incomparable degree of realism to their predecessors. In addition, the field will in great detail, and as the game progresses, the grass of the field will suffer the effects of the game and wear, so you see bits of grass torn and muddy puddles will bring realism to the franchise.
Thanks to the new graphics engine, players seem to be alive and recreated detail, and ball physics will be really spectacular. Considerable improvement of the IA, the extreme detail and realism are FIFA 15 pure strengths.
FIFA 15 Ultimate Edition is also available on XBox One & PS4.
For one more year FIFA 15 manages to maintain its high standards with a further addition of new animations and even better visuals. However, the same thing cannot be said for the gameplay which remains virtually unchanged from its predecessor.
FIFA 15 is pretty much one of the best football games out there. The Ignite engine works flawlessly and delivers a new quality, and playing with the football became more demanding, fluent and much less predictable. I have played an early version of the game a while ago, and it didn't seem like FIFA 15 was going to be good. But it is. Very much so. "Just one more game" syndrome is present and everyone should fall under its charm.
Over the years, Fifa has increased and improved in becoming an almost perfectly realistic football simulation. The focus on tactical gameplay and duels make the game feel authentic and challenging throughout the different difficulty settings. Only small issues such as poor commentators (in the German version) take from the games quality.
Only in one aspect I would have expected more from Fifa 15, namely in the game modes.
If the team at EA Sports gets the balance right between attack and defence, this game would be near perfect. But as it stands, FIFA 15 feels like a slightly improved version of FIFA 14, a game that itself was near footballing perfection.
A finely tuned game that doesn't need to overhaul anything and offers a gameplay experience without any compromises. [Issue#246]
FIFA 15 still plays decent football, but with the same (increasingly inexcusable) bugs and instabilities of the past few seasons.
