Attention: Far Cry 5 Season Pass is included in the Gold Edition of Far Cry 5, so if you have that edition you don't need to buy this product. Also remember that this Season Pass does not include the base set, so you need to buy it separately. As usual, with the Season Pass of Far Cry 5 we will have access to all the extra content, both DLC, content packages and expansions, that have been released for the title since its market launch.
Initially it is planned to launch 3 more DLCs for Far Cry 5, with different themes that have nothing to do with the main story of the game, so we could talk about three new games made with the graphic engine of Far Cry. The expected DLCs are: Times of Darkness, Living Dead - Zombies and Lost on Mars. The first of the DLCs will place us in Vietnam, where we will have to annihilate a lot of enemies and make way to save our comrades.
The second we will face a kind of zombie mode, with legions of undead people willing to devour us. And the third DLCs will put us on Mars, with aliens and freaks.
What perfect videogame comfort food for at least, say, another 205 days.
Even if we ignore the ridiculous quantity of content, and we focus only on the main storyline, we still get an amazing experience. Far Cry 5 is not the game we expected, but it’s exactly what we should have wanted in the first place.
Far Cry 5 is mechanically sound and varied. You’ll find something that entertains you, and Ubisoft has nailed all of the underlying elements of character and world progression. At the same time, it squanders some decent writing because it can’t decide what kind of game it is.
Far Cry 5 is looking really unique. The world, the cult, and the gameplay are solid and fun.
The wonderful chaos of the open world and your choice of how to tackle it is occasionally stifled by bad boss fights and worse boss speeches.
All in all, the duo multiplayer experience of Far Cry 5 is fantastic. The aesthetics alone manage to overshadow the frustrating mechanics that the game brings to bear and keep us wanting to play...If you’re looking for a fun, engaging, exciting game to play with a partner, this is definitely one to try out. Let’s hope that the games industry creates more partner play experiences for those who love to game together, but not necessarily in huge piles.
The ambitious setting doesn't pay off in this story that seems to want to hedge every chance it gets. The end result is a story that goes nowhere, says nothing, and fails to live up to the previous settings and villains in the franchise. If you can get past that... the rest is pretty much fine if you're up for another Far Cry game.
