Far Cry 5 Lost On Mars is the new DLC of the latest Ubisoft Far Cry 5 shooter, which takes advantage of its graphic engine and power to take us to a completely different scenario. Thanks to this DLC, it will be as if we had a totally new game, as it will transport us to Mars and where we will have to fight all kinds of aliens and aliens. Fly over the dunes and canyons of Mars with a backpack propeller, blow up lethal arachnids with lasers… and move through Mars with complete freedom.
We will be able to enjoy a completely new map set on Mars, with an amazing adventure, with new enemies, with new advanced weaponry, such as the Bláster, the Inferno, the Polymorphator and many other crazy weapons that have nothing to do with the original game. Remember that to be able to enjoy this DLC you need to have the base game installed in your Uplay account. Also, remember that if you have the Season Pass of Far Cry 5 or the Gold version of the game, this title is already included and you will have access to it.
What perfect videogame comfort food for at least, say, another 205 days.
Even if we ignore the ridiculous quantity of content, and we focus only on the main storyline, we still get an amazing experience. Far Cry 5 is not the game we expected, but it’s exactly what we should have wanted in the first place.
Far Cry 5 is mechanically sound and varied. You’ll find something that entertains you, and Ubisoft has nailed all of the underlying elements of character and world progression. At the same time, it squanders some decent writing because it can’t decide what kind of game it is.
Far Cry 5 is looking really unique. The world, the cult, and the gameplay are solid and fun.
The wonderful chaos of the open world and your choice of how to tackle it is occasionally stifled by bad boss fights and worse boss speeches.
All in all, the duo multiplayer experience of Far Cry 5 is fantastic. The aesthetics alone manage to overshadow the frustrating mechanics that the game brings to bear and keep us wanting to play...If you’re looking for a fun, engaging, exciting game to play with a partner, this is definitely one to try out. Let’s hope that the games industry creates more partner play experiences for those who love to game together, but not necessarily in huge piles.
The ambitious setting doesn't pay off in this story that seems to want to hedge every chance it gets. The end result is a story that goes nowhere, says nothing, and fails to live up to the previous settings and villains in the franchise. If you can get past that... the rest is pretty much fine if you're up for another Far Cry game.
