The expansion allows you to create trade conflicts in secret, steal from your competitors with the use of privateers, use peace treaties to gain trade power and create a new trade capital to strengthen your grasp over trade. The age of exploration is brought to life in this epic game of trade, diplomacy, warfare and exploration by Paradox Development Studio, the Masters of Strategy. Europa Universalis IV gives you control of a nation to rule an empire that lasts through the ages.
Wealth of Nations adds real depth to the game.
These new features combine to make trade an even more vibrant strategic opportunity than it was previously.
Wealth of Nations is an admirably focused DLC that basically reworks an entire section of the game.
With Wealth of Nations, Paradox continues her trend of bringing strong DLC's for its games. WoN enhances the trade mechanics in the game which gives Europa Universalis a new dimension.
Wealth of Nations adds quite a bit of both major and minor changes to the grand strategy experience and can make the game feel fresh for even the most experienced long-term fan, which makes it a worthwhile investment, especially for those who have already sunk around 100 hours into the game.
Wealth of Nations offers even less scope than Conquest of Paradise, and the changes it introduces are hardly game-changing, yet they’re all thought-out and very appropriate. If you’re going to play as a trade empire, don’t skimp on this expansion.
A lot of new content for the fans, but we did not fine some adjustments we kind of expected. It's certainly not a "mandatory" buy.
