NEW MAP: RUPTURE - In dire need to capture key bridges across the Aisne river, the French find themselves back into battlefields where poppies grow over a rusty wreck from previous tank battles.
It might seem calm but this maze of steel beasts provides an excellent place for those who plan an ambush. As the sun sets over Fontenoy, the battle wakes up.

One of the best expansion packs in a long while, They Shall Not Pass delivers excellent gameplay, and captures the spirit of World War I better than anything thus far.
I’m happy to report that these four new maps are unique enough to justify the addition and definitely won’t feel like rehashed content.
Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass DLC is another impressive expansion from DICE. Ultimately worth the wait, the inclusion of the French army, weaponry and historical maps fit perfectly into the game. This DLC has something for everyone, whether you just wanted new maps to play your favorite modes, something new to sink your teeth into in Frontlines, or more World War I lore in the Operations mode.
Battlefield 1 already had plenty of content to enjoy for many months but its first expansion seems necessary to all Battlefield players. They Shall not Pass is set on the French front, one of the most affected of the First World War. Four huge and complete maps are waiting for you in an almost indispensable DLC.
DICE has turned the red poppy as the symbol of this first DLC, They Shall Not Pass. It's visuals are as intense as at the original game, which is saying a lot. Its gameplay does not vary much, but it has enough content.
This downloadable content makes it worth returning to the battlefield.
