Take on the role of a fallen lord on his journey back to become one of the mightiest in the realm. Make your banner strike fear into your opponents and challenge the multiplayer ladder in action packed skirmishes.
Bannermen is a good RTS game. It is intuitive and easy to jump into and the campaign is satisfying. The storyline is engaging enough, and Lord Berrian is enough to make any gamer girl swoon. The only thing about it I can criticize is that I don’t think it has anything that makes it stand out among other games of this genre.
Bannermen is the ideal choice for those in search for a pretty straightforward RTS, even if the game might seem a bit vintage in its gameplay and technical aspects.
Bannermen feels half baked and underfunded. It takes ideas from classics, but you’re really better off playing those again.
Bannermen is only a forgettable fantasy RTS.
Bannermen is a mediocre attempt at providing a standard RTS following many clichés and archetypes. It sadly fails to live to even the basic requests of a modern game of this genre.
We expected a classic RTS in the vein of Age of Mythology. What we got instead is a half- finished product with a few good ideas drowned in a sea of technical and gameplay issues.
Presumably some of the bugs and related issues might eventually get patched out; one thing that does not change though, is the core of the game. Given it is mostly a clone of a game over 15 years old, for all intents and purposes it is worse than all across the board. Almost every aspect of [i[Warcraft III is better than this game. This would need a massive overhaul to come close to recommending.
