Disharmony is the next step in the development of Endless Space. It is not big even if you count new research options, heroes and buildings, but still, you’ll get a lot of nice stuff for your 10 bucks.
Endless Space was so much fun to play that we welcomed the idea of an expansion with open arms. Sadly Disharmony is more of an paid patch with a couple of minor extra features.
A significant upgrade, supported by a clever eye for tactical diversity. An eye that is sadly poked by uneven execution. [Oct 2013, p.74]
I want to love Endless Space: Disharmony as wildly as I did the original, but in its current state I simply cannot. The performance issues, and borked ship-building alone are reason enough for me to forego this expansion, and the other additions, though inoffensive, don't come near to making me second guess that notion.
Disharmony's content is either so buggy or poorly designed that the expansion pack offers an inferior 4X experience to the vanilla of Endless Space. [Sept 2013, p.84]
