In this turn-based tactics RPG, explore a steam-powered ancient Greece as Artemis' bear warrior on a mythological quest of technology and magic. Push, toss, and bounce friend and foe, and use the environment to your advantage. You choose the battles, allies, and plots you encounter.
Hellenica fits neatly into a spot somewhere between the classic tactical RPG’s that have been around seemingly forever, and the new wave of casual story-driven RPG’s that are so popular today.
All together it is a gracious effort by The Dragonloft. You can see the inspiration as Final Fantasy Tactics shines through, along with the art direction mimicking Disgaea. The dialogue is cute and the battles are intense. I usually don’t go for games like this, but I was drawn in as I felt myself repeating “just one more try…”
